HCT Regenerative is licensed by the TFDA and has been accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), the premier standard setting body for tissue banks.
All of our placental tissue is recovered in Taiwan through informed consent. Musculoskeletal tissue is provided through our partnership with LifeLink Foundation.
All tissue is subject to rigorous screening and testing. A risk assessment with a series of blood tests are performed on each donor including:
- Anti-HIV-1 and Anti HIV-2
- HIV-1 NAT
- HBsAg
- HBV NAT
- Anti-HBc
- Anti-HBs
- Anti-HCV
- HCV NAT
- RPR
- TPPA
Once tissue has cleared donor screening and testing, it is then processed in a class 10,000 cleanroom using aseptic technique. The processing procedure involves a cleaning and disinfecting process. Microbiological testing is also performed before processing and after packaging to ensure greater safety.
